The Epaulette Cut is a modern shape that came into existence and which combines chevron and trapezoid. They are also referred as Cadillac cut/Cadi cut. It is a 5 sided fancy cut diamond inspired from ornamental shoulder accents from a military uniform.  They’re wider and squattier like a trapeze, but with points on the bottom like a shield. The particular geometry as side stones truly enhances the main piece in a perfectly balanced fashion if combined proportionally.

Epaulette Side Stones are used as side stones to Ovals, Princess, Emerald, and Cushion Diamonds. Available in either a step cut or brilliant cut, they work well with either long or short center stones. They are often used in eternity rings, three stone rings, custom necklaces and earrings.
